Configuring Active Library
Active Library is OyezForms' built-in form library management module. It ensures your subscription is kept up-to-date with our editorial service. OyezForms will connect with our webservice, determine if new templates exist and, if so, download and import them into your library of forms. Deprecated templates will be hidden.

With standalone installations, each library is separate and so every user is responsible for maintenance. In networked installs, one or more users can manage the form library on behalf of all attached users. Only users who perform the following steps will be able synchronise the form library.
To configure a User to Administer Active Library
- In the TOOLS>OPTIONS>IMPORT tab, tick the 'Allow forms to be directly downloaded from Oyez' box.
- In the TOOLS>OPTIONS> ACTIVE LIBRARY TAB tab, enter you Oyez account ID, and password. These will have been emailed to the primary email address registered with Oyez, and are available from the support desk.
- Select frequency of checking for updates (we recommend every 7 days), and whether OyezForms auto-downloads, or asks permission.*
- The option ADMIN>SYNCHRONISE LIBRARY NOW will now be available in OyezForms. You can synchronise your library at anytime by selecting this. Initial synchronisation will may take about a minute if you subscribe to all forms.
*If you wish to download and review form titles before installing them, you should select 'selective import' - this will allow you to select which forms are imported.
Scheduling Active Library
You can trigger Active library as a scheduled task on a PC that has Active Library configured by creating a new task browsing to the Oyezfrms.exe file and adding the /updateonly switch to the command path. At the scheduled time, the software will launch, perform a library synchronisation, and close.
Warnings
If Active Library is enabled and your library has not been synchronised for 4 weeks, OyezForms will display a warning to all users on launch.
Oyez's webservice will also send reminder emails to your account's principle email address if you have failed to synchronise after forms relevant to you have been released. You should ensure emails originating from @oyezforms.co.uk are whitelisted in your SPAM filters.
Firewalls
The Active Library service is targetted as a sub-domain of the oyezforms.co.uk domain. Firewall administrators may wish to add *.oyezforms.co.uk to their whitelists.
