Program Upgrade - Instructions

This program upgrade will keep your copy of OyezForms up to date with ongoing developments that have occurred since you received your original copy. In order to load it correctly, please follow the instructions below.

You will need to establish your current revision of OyezForms. This is done by clicking Help > About the program. The revision is signified by the numbers and letter (e.g V9.00P)

 

Standalone Program Upgrade

  • Download Standalone.exe to your Desktop

  • Run Standalone.exe from your Desktop

  • Accept the prompts available by clicking Next

  • Accept the 'Select Installation Folder' as C:\Program Files\Oyez\Oyez Legal Forms

  • The program will start copying files

  • Click finish to complete setup

Once you have completed the upgrade procedure, run OyezForms and then select Help > About the Program to confirm the upgrade was successful.

 

Network Program Upgrade

  • Download Network.exe to your Desktop

  • Run Network.exe from your Desktop

  • Specify the 'Select Installation Folder'.  You may need to change this path to the network location where OyezForms is on your sever.  e.g O:\Oyez32.  The program will start copying files to this location

  • Click finish to complete setup

Once you have completed the upgrade procedure, run OyezForms and then select Help > About the Program to confirm the upgrade was successful.

 

Trouble shooting guide

  • An incorrect Drive or Path was selected at the 'Select Installation Folder' dialogue box.  Re-try with correct path.  If you are unsure of the correct installation folder, please see Tools>Option>Main Program Path

  • A user was still running OyezForms.  Re-try with all users Completely Out of the program
